"I am incredibly blessed and honored to have the opportunity to coach the defensive backs for the Commerce High School Football Team. Throughout my career, I've been fortunate to learn from motivated and successful coaches who have shaped my perspective and values in coaching. Accountability, resilience, toughness, and discipline are cornerstones of my approach as I teach and guide our players both on and off the field. I truly believe that football is a powerful tool for preparing young men for life, and I am committed to being a positive male role model and mentor for my student-athletes. Every day, I strive to help them become the best versions of themselves.
My journey to becoming a football coach and strength and conditioning coach began at Tift County High School, where I spent three years interning and coaching in the weight room and on the football field. I then moved on to Colquitt County, where I had the privilege of coaching the defensive backs and gaining invaluable experience from some of the best coaches in the state, both on the field and in the weight room. Additionally, my wife and I both spent time in our careers at Pierce County, where I coached cornerbacks and helped contribute to a region championship team, as well as a AA state championship in 2023. During this period, we also welcomed our daughter, Maeleigh, into the world. Being far from family, we decided to move closer to home, which led to the opportunity for me to coach the defensive backs at Banks County High School.
I am beyond grateful to Coach Gregory for welcoming me into the Commerce High School football family. I deeply respect the rich history and tradition of football at Commerce, and I am eager to guide our student-athletes in the weight room, while also guiding them to reach their full potential on the football field. I am confident that our hard work will lead the Commerce High School football team to more championships in the future. #ExpectExcellence
